In the summer of 2014, filmmakers Ryan Spindell and Ben Hethcoat had completed a horror short titled “The Babysitter,” the first in a proposed horror anthology film. As part of their crowdfunding campaign to secure the remaining funds to shoot the other segments, the duo went about making this short documentary film about why the horror anthology is one of the best, and underrated of the horror sub-genres. Featuring directors Michael Doughtery (TRICK ‘R TREAT), Joe Dante (THE TWILIGHT ZONE MOVIE), Darin Scott (TALES FROM THE HOOD), as well as fans such as myself, Robert V. Galluzzo, at the time, a co-host of the Killer POV podcast, here is that entire documentary!

That feature did eventually get completed as was released on Shudder as THE MORTUARY COLLECTION!
