My third year at CinemaCon in Las Vegas and it was a jam-packed, star studded, quality time with theater owners, ales reps, and fellow film buyers to discuss, and get a sneak peek, at all the movies coming up this year and beyond! This year, I took bullet point notes from each presentation, presented chronologically below. I will update with clips and trailers as they become available. You can also hear me discuss them in details on the YouTube show RobServations at the end of this blog post!

Sony Presentation:

– Paul Rudd and Jack Black intro from set of ANACONDA (Out Dec 2025)
– Danny Boyle introduces new trailer for 28 YEARS LATER
– Brings out Nia DiCosta to announce 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE (out Jan. 2026)
– Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse coming in 2027, sizzle reel shown
– Darren Aronofsky intros first trailer to CAUGHT STEALING
– Zach Cregger comes out to explain why he’s tackling RESIDENT EVIL
– First trailer for BIG BOLD BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY starring Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie
– Intro for GOAT, animated feature
– DEMON SLAYER promo reel for upcoming trilogy
– Insidious 6 announcement
– I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, impressive first trailer debut
– Announcements: Klaka and The Sun (Taika Waititi and Jenna Ortega), Grand Gear (from the director of GODZILLA MINUS ONE, produced by JJ Abrahms), The Breadwinner, Jumanji 3, Starship Troopers, The Legend Of Zelda
– KARATE KID LEGENDS presentation, with karate / dance segment, Ralph Macchio and Ben Wang intro two scenes and a new trailer

– SPIDER-MAN 4 is titled BRAND NEW DAY (video message from Tom Holland revealing the title)
– Sam Mendes intros the cast of his FOUR BEATLES movies, all of which will come out simultaneously in April of 2028

NEON:
– Trailers for THE LIFE OF CHUCK and TOGETHER

Lionsgate:

– BALLERINA extended preview with Ana de Armas and director Len Wiseman
– THE LONG WALK trailer, based on the Stephen King novel, adapted by Francis Lawrence and starring Mark Hamill. Out 9/12
– HUNGERS GAMES announcement for SUNRISE ON THE REAPING, Francis Lawrence directing. Shoots this July for a Nov. 2026 release
– Luca Guadagnino officially announced his version of AMERICAN PSYCHO in a taped video
– JOHN WICK animated prequel announced, along with Donnie Yen spin-off with Yen directing. And JOHN WICK 5
– GOOD FORTUNE, full trailer for Aziz Azaria’s comedy starring Seth Rogan and Keanu Reeves
– POWER BALLAD, from John Carney, the director of ONCE and SING STREET starring Paul Rudd, showed extended first look
– NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DON’T, third chapter in the franchise, trailer reveal with director Ruben Fleischer announcing the 4th movie is in production
– THE HOUSEMAID trailer reveal, starring Sydney Sweeny, Brandon Sklenar, Amanda Seyfried, based on the book by Freida McFadden
– HURRY UP, TOMORROW with Jenna Ortega. Second trailer revealed, The Weekend came out to play two songs; the title track from the movie and “Blinding Lights.”

WB, The Big Picture:

– ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER extended scene shown, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyanna Taylor, and Regina Hall present for Q & A
– First look/ trailer for THE BRIDE! After a long drawn out conversation with director Maggie Gylenhaal and the “Bride” Jessie Buckley. Pushed to March 2026.
– New Line Cinema sizzle reel, bringing back the old logo and sound
– FINAL DESTINATION: BLOOD LINES extended sequence shown
– WEAPONS teaser trailer, coming 8/8
– F1, first 10 minutes screened
– WB animation rundown with Bill Hader previewing CAT IN THE HAT. In theaters 2/26. Rough unfinished trailer shown. Several other titles, including an animated FLINTSTONES feature were in reel.

– DC Studios panel with SUPERMAN. First look footage shown that’s debuting with MINECRAFT this weekend, a way-too-long Q & A with James Gunn and Peter Safran with David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Holt. Extended scene shown with Krypto the Superdog. (No look at Supergirl or anything beyond SUPERMAN)

Universal Presentation:

– Universal really kicked off their presentation in style by having a full orchestra on stage for the entire presentation, led by composer Ricky Minor. They kicked it off with a montage of Universal’s greatest movies and themes, live! BACK TO THE FUTURE, JURASSIC PARK, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, PSYCHO, JAWS, FAST X, DESPICABLE ME, SHREK, CONCLAVE, OPPENHEIMER, E.T. and WICKED
– Gareth Edwards, Scarlett Johansson, and Mahershala Ali introduced a brand new trailer for JURASSIC PARK: REBIRTH
– GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: THE MOVIE trailer, out Sep 25
– BAD GUYS 2 trailer with intro from Awkwafina and Craig Robinson
– HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 announcement for June 2027, orchestra played the theme live
– HIM, new football horror movie produced by Jordan Peele starring Marlon Waynes and Tyriq Withers, trailer unveiled
– NOBODY 2 trailer debut
– FOCUS FEATURE: Trailers shown for three titles, Wes Anderson’s THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME with an all star cast fronted by Benicio Del Toro. Yorgos Lanthimos’ BUGONIA, and DOWNTOWN ABBY: THE GRAND FINALE

– Blumhouse presentation, new trailers for FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY 2, THE BLACK PHONE 2, MEGAN 2.0 and Megan spin-off SOULM8TE. About thirty Megan’s came on stage to dance to “Oops I Did It Again” by Brittany Spears.

– Announcements: SUPER MARIO 2 for 2026, MINIONS 3 for July 2026, and SHREK 5 for Dec 2026. New films with Steven Spielberg (untitled) and Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY
– WICKED: FOR GOOD trailer and introduction by Jon M. Chu, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo

MGM Amazon:

– PROJECT HAIL MARY, first ever extended trailer with Ryan Gosling and directors Lord & Miller
– They promised 19 theatrical films by 2027 and are ahead of schedule with about 14 for 2026.
– VERITY, teaser and introduction for new Colleen Hoover adaptation with Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett
– THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR, writer/director/star Michael B Jordan sent a greetings video from set
– AFTER THE HUNT, trailer and intro from director Luco Guadagnino, stars Anfrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri. Also stars Julia Roberts. Out Oct 2025
– MERCY, extended trailer for Chris Pratt movie, Pratt was on stage in the chair from the movie to hype up the audience. Our Jan 2026
– THREE BAGS FULL: A SHEEP DETECTIVE STORY with Hugh Jackman, we got a sneak peek at the making of the film
– CRIME 101 with Halley Berry and Chris Hemsworth, onstage to intro the extended trailer
– IS GOD IS, extended trailer for the KILL BILL-esque revenge story about two twin sisters fulfilling their mother’s dying wish; to kill their father who burned them all in a house fire. Based on a off Broadway play
– YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER, just beginning production. We got a video greeting from star Mahershala Ali
– JAMES BOND, a mention and confirmation that Amy Pascal and David Heyman are currently in London beginning the next Bond film
– MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, a great behind-the-scenes preview with cast interviews, character designs, and a bit of footage, slated for Summer 2026
– THE ACCOUNTANT 2, with Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Daniella Pineda, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson in attendance. Extended preview.

– A reel was shown for MGM’s past, present and future
– All the celebrities came out to get a group selfie on stage

Paramount:

– Kicked off with a MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE inspired motorcycle stunt show on stage and through the Coliseum
– Sizzle reel shown of Paramount’s celebrated history
– Currently in production announcements: CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE based on the best selling Young Adult novel, HEART OF THE BEAST with Brad Pitt directed by David Ayer, the Trey Parker and Matt Stone UNTITLED movie with Kendrick Lamar, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 4 and SCREAM 7
– THE RUNNING MAN, introduction from Edgar Wright and the first trailer footage, followed by Q & A with actors Glenn Powell and Colman Domingo
– Paramount Animation for 2026: PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE, AANG: THE LAST AIRBENDER, and TMNT animated sequel
– This Summer, Rihanna came out to introduce the new trailer for SMURFS (July 18th)
– THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: THE SEARCH FOR SQUARE PANTS, Mark Hamill introduction with Tom Kenny (Coming Dec 2025)
– THE NAKED GUN reboot! (It’s a sequel!) We got an extended trailer that was hilarious. The two biggest moments were released later on line as a teaser trailer

– ROOFMAN, based on a true story and starring Channing Tatum.
– REGRETTING YOU, new Colleen Hoover adaptation which just began production. Cast (Willa Fitzgerald, Allison Williams, Dave Franco, Mckenna Grace, Scott Eastwood) sent a greeting video.
– Tom Cruise then came out, first asking for a moment of silence for Val Kilmer. Then to give Chris McQuarry a “director of the year” award. The duo debuted a brand new trailer for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE FINAL RECKONING

Disney:

– Sizzle reel intro with Stitch from LILO & STITCH invaded past and present Disney hits.
– LILO & STITCH sneak peek, a comical scene from the film, coming May 23rd

– FREAKIER FRIDAY, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis on hand to introduce an extended sneak peek / trailer. Coming Aug 8th
– TRON: ARES was introduced via an impressive laser presentation. Jeff Bridges and Jared Leto introduced the first trailer and announced NINE INCH NAILS as doing the new original score. Out October 10th

– New AMATEUR trailer shown

– First look at PREDATOR: BADLANDS with Elle Fanning introduction, coming November 7th
– DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE, the first footage / trailer for the Bruce Springsteen movie set in the time leading up to his album NEBRASKA. Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong introed the clip
– ELLA McCAY preview and Cinema Verite Award for director James L Brooks. Jamie Lee Curtis returned to the stage with Emma Mackey to intro the extended trailer
– From Fox Searchlight, a hilarious trailer debuted for THE ROSES, a remake of THE WAR OF THE ROSES with Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman
– MARVEL presentation kicked off with a 5 minute scene from THUNDERBOLTS, introduced by most of the cast
– Kevin Feige sent a video greeting from the set of AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY and then debuted a brand new FANTASTIC FOUR trailer
– For Pixar, Zoe Saldana introduced an extended scene in 3D from ELIO coming June 20th
– Ke Huy Quan came out to introduce two clips from ZOOTOPIA 2, in which he plays Gary the Snake! Coming 11/26
– Finally, James Cameron sent a video introduction from New Zealand and had Zoe Saldana introduce several minutes of footage from AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH in 3D
