Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, Burbank, California, June 4th, 2005 at the Burbank Marriot

This was for the film Lightning Bug and the panel featured director Robert Hall, actress Ashley (Hellraiser) Laurence, producer Kevin Bocarde and actors Bret Harrison and Hal (Queer As Folk) Sparks. The film Lightning Bug is a semi-autobiographical film about a small town boy trying to be a special effects make-up artist in a small town where everyone just writes him off as a “devil-worshipper.” An audience member asked director Robert Hall if his real childhood girlfriend was as hot as the actress playing her in the trailer, to which he paused and eventually replied, “…no.”
