Sometimes certain filmmakers they have a story they’ve been carrying around for years and years before it comes to fruition as a feature length film. For writer/director Mike Flanagan, we heard all about the long road to making OCULUS happen on this week’s episode of the Shock Waves podcast.

Long before the full-length movie version, Flanagan directed this 33 minute short film version titled “OCULUS: Chapter 3” to illustrate his skills as a director and exactly how his story would unfold. We thought since we heard him talk about it in depth on the podcast that you’d probably like to see it for yourself! If you have the Blu-Ray release of OCULUS, this is included as a special feature.
